Green Communities

We suggest that communities may want to adopt our Green Communities program by using our free GBL Assessment form.  We have made the program so simple that it is quickly and easily incorporated into the city or community program.

The GBL Assessment form is an extensive checklist of nearly 400 possible Green or sustainable options.  While no firm will cover all options, there are enough ideas for any business to start a progressive Greening program.  When the company has made significant progress, they can call for an audit by a Certified Green Consultant.  The consultant will verify all Green elements and calculate the point total.

In fact, we can train a Certified Green Consultant in your community.  This process allows your city or community to implement a Green business program with tremendous value with a minimum of effort.  Why try to create a system that we have already perfected?

Green consultants do not sell products.  Their job is to work with the company to improve its environmental program.  Our critics train their eco consultants to use the seldom-applied audit as an opportunity to sell CFL bulbs, green cleaning products, and other product through their multi-level sales program.

There is $750 cost to adopt this program, whcih is a small fee.  We only need an agreement that your community will maintain the reasonable standards of our audit program and assessment program.  When possible, we would like to train a Green consultant or two in your community.  These trained consultants will be key to the overall success.

We desire to assist in community-wide programs that assist area businesses in a Green training and assessment program.  This makes the process simple and affordable.

Here is How the Green Communities Program Works?

  1. Have your community or city adopt this program.  It can be the local Chamber of Commerce, the city or any authorizing body.
  2. Send in the Green Communities Agreement.
  3. Train one or more Green Consultants to manage the program (available online)
  4. Encourage your businesses to use the assessment program to evaluate their progress and target improvement to be made.
  5. The Green consultant verifies the Green business using a point system.  100 points earns the Green certification.
  6. Track the responses of your business to determine progress
  7. Audited results may lead to other awards and possible grants under the city climate control program.

It couldn't be easier.  Your $750 investment brings the tools that your community will need to promote the program.  This includes access to logos, publicity material, assessment forms, certification review, and our continued support.

Note that proper assessment or audit must be accomplished by a Certified Green Consultant.  Training for this duty is provided online.
