GREEN BUSINESS LEAGUE

Hotels are uniquely positioned to offer a Green facility for the Eco-Tourist.  Travelers are often conscious of the choices they have when making travel plans, and more of these eco-minded travelers purposely look for environmentally friendly hotels.

The Green Business League now offers the ability to certify any eco-friendly hotel under its Green Points system.  Like any other business in the GBL program, a live audit is conducted to assess the current progress of the facility.  All existing Green improvements are evaluated for point value, and additional improvements are suggested that will help the hotel earn its GBL Green Hotel Certification.

A trained Certified Green Consultant™ will schedule an assessment visit with the hotel that will include a walking tour of the facility.  The purpose is to evaluate all Green improvements and to discover easy-to-install improvements that will allow the hotel to earn the highest level of GBL Green Hotel certification.  The assessment fee is $250 which is applied to certification costs later.

The Certified Green Consultant™ will then prepare a Sustainability Report that will act as a mutually-agreed roadmap for the improvement of the Green hotel that also leads to GBL Green Hotel certification.  Unlike other fake certifications, GBL always requires a live audit and provides a year-long program of support and guidance through a local Certified Green Consultant who is a tremendous resource to any eco-conscious business.
