GREEN BUSINESS LEAGUE

The public is now hearing more and more about Green Homes, but how long does the value of a Green home last?  There are dozens of Green home certifications, but will that certification be essentially valueless when the present owner tries to sell the home?  This is a question that has plagued the real estate industry.  It seems that there is minimal residual value for a home once it has been occupied.

Accounting firms focus on keeping their clients in the black. Kutchins Robbins & Diamond, a Schaumburg, Illinois headquartered CPA firm, just added two new colors to their spectrum: green and silver. They recently earned the Green Business League’s silver status business certification.

The learning experience is the first duty of any school, but learning in a health environment is also a very important factor.  Bannockburn schools in Bannockburn, IL has recently earned the gold level status as a Green certified school.  This is an outstanding performance by this school which serves as an example to other schools everywhere.

Going Green often means finding a better way to do what is commonly done already.  Cleaning is a good example of how to "transition" to a Green process by simply using a Green product in place of a non-Green product.  HEPA vacuums are a good example of transitional Green.  When the old vacuum is ready to be replaced, replace it with a HEPA vacuum.
