The Green Business League set a standard that was hard to match.  From the very first, we said that unless there was a live audit, the certification process was worthless.  You see, our program is not one person, but 400 dedicated people who have chosen to make a commitment to their community, and that is unmatched anywhere.  Of course, we get criticized; but the this has been our stand.

When a business chooses to prove that it is a genuine Green company, the Green Business League program is the wise choice.  We start with an initial assessment that allows a company to chart its way to a Green certification.  When a company acquires enough points through audited review, certification is earned.

The fact is that with the Green Business League, certification is "Earned, not Bought," and that is very important in an era when greenwashing is prevalent.  There are plenty of Green certifications sold on the Internet, but there are only a few that are earned by a proven process.
